One-on-One Pistol Training
Private Handgun Coaching for Manassas & Northern Virginia
Stop guessing at what you should practice.
Work directly with an instructor who can focus on your current experience, your handgun, and the areas most relevant to your goals.
Private • Beginner-Friendly • Individual Feedback
Would One-on-One Training Work Better for You?
Private instruction isn't only for advanced shooters.
It may be the right fit if:
You recently purchased your first handgun.
You want more individual attention than a group class provides.
You're uncomfortable asking questions in a larger class.
You practice but aren't sure what is limiting your progress.
You're returning to shooting after time away.
You want focused help with a specific goal.
You want to know what deserves your attention next.
The session starts with where you are—not where someone assumes you should be.
Training Focused on You
Individual Instructor Attention
You aren't competing with an entire class for feedback.
The instructor has more opportunity to observe what you're doing and focus the session on the areas that matter most.
Training at Your Pace
New shooters may need time to slow down, ask questions, and build comfort.
More experienced shooters may need less explanation and more focused evaluation.
Private training allows the session to adjust accordingly.
Focused Feedback
Sometimes the biggest obstacle to improvement is simply not knowing what is creating the problem.
One-on-one coaching provides more opportunity to identify meaningful priorities instead of continuing to practice everything at once.
Clear Next Steps
You shouldn't leave with twenty things to work on.
Where appropriate, you'll leave with a clearer understanding of what deserves your attention next and how your continued practice should be prioritized.
Stop Practicing Without Knowing What You're Fixing
More range time does not automatically create better performance.
Private coaching is especially useful when you're asking questions like:
What am I doing wrong?
Why am I inconsistent?
What should I work on first?
Am I ready to move forward?
What should I practice between sessions?
The goal isn't to fit as many drills as possible into an hour.
The goal is to spend your training time on what matters most right now.
Beginner to Experienced
New Handgun Owners
Build familiarity with your handgun in a setting where you have time to ask questions and work at an appropriate pace.
Returning Shooters
Refresh skills and identify areas that may need attention after time away from regular practice.
Concealed Carriers
Develop pistol skills beyond the administrative requirements of obtaining a permit.
Developing Shooters
Get focused feedback when regular range practice has stopped producing the improvement you want.
Experienced Shooters
Use individual coaching to evaluate specific performance concerns or development goals.
Comfortable for Beginners. Useful for Experienced Shooters.
One-on-one training should adapt to the person in front of the instructor.
Your Training Should Be About Your Progress
Instructor experience is useful only when it benefits the student.
Tactical Trash Pandas uses professional firearms, security, and instructional experience to make concepts easier to understand, identify meaningful training priorities, and provide focused feedback.
You don't need an instructor trying to impress you.
You need an instructor paying attention to what you're doing.
That's where one-on-one training has its greatest value.

Is one-on-one training only for beginners?
No.
Private instruction can also help experienced shooters who want focused feedback on a specific problem, goal, or area of performance.
Do I need to own a handgun?
Not necessarily.
If you haven't purchased a handgun yet, review the booking details or contact TTP before buying equipment specifically for the session.
Where does the training take place?
Tactical Trash Pandas is based in Manassas.
Current private live-fire sessions are conducted at the designated partner range. If Silver Eagle remains your current location, list the Ashburn address directly here rather than implying the range itself is in Manassas.
How long is the session?
The standard one-on-one pistol session is approximately one hour.
Additional sessions can be scheduled if your goals require more time.
Can I bring another person?
One-on-one training is designed primarily for individual instruction.
If you want to train with a spouse, family member, or friend, contact TTP about an appropriate semi-private or custom-training option.
Is this a concealed carry permit class?
No.
This service is primarily pistol skill-development coaching.
If you need Virginia, Maryland, or Washington, DC permit training, use the Concealed Carry & Permit Training pathway.
What if I don't know what I need to work on?
That's one of the strongest reasons to choose private instruction.
You don't need to arrive with a complete training plan.
Bring your current experience, questions, and goals. The session can help identify the priorities that deserve attention.
